I left Michigan when I was 17-years old (1966) without any shoes. Got a pair of boots when I joined the U.S. of Army. I returned to Michigan twice. After the second trip, I let the door hit me on the way out. I was born in Alpena and loved the "Upper", but I learned to love the Great Smoky Mountains more. I have been in Georgia since '77, after Uncle Sugar and I parted ways. Good luck on your journey.

I spend my days doing only things I like to do and there aren't enough hours in the day or days in the week to do everything I want. I continued working for a while after "retiring". It can be difficult to transition. I am pleased to say, I have finally perfected being retired and spend my days fishing, shooting, reloading, woodworking, and DIY projects at home.

Biden wants to ban guns, Trump had the bumbstock ban and said "Take the guns then write the laws". The choice between the 2 is like picking between shot or stabbed to death🤷‍♂️. went through the same thing , born in NJ, but it became a police state , had to leave , never was gun friendly and got worse , lived way differently across the border in PA , yes I know there are better states but a great relief for a firearms person

Should move to Missouri. Conceal carry without a permit. They have state owned shooting ranges that don't have a range officer.

We would have welcomed you in South Georgia for sure. I get it though. I left Illinois in 95 for the Air Force and stayed in Georgia. Never thought of staying in the corrupt state of Illinois.
